China’s Agricultural Import and Export for Jan. - Mar. of 2017

In the first quarterof 2017, China’s import & export in agriculture totaled US$ 45.40 billion with a year-on-year increase of 11.7%. China’s agricultural export was US$ 16.39 billion and its agricultural import was US$ 29.01 billion, down by 0.1% and up by 19.6% respectively. China suffered a trade deficit of US$ 12.62 billion in agriculture, up by 60.7%. The export and import figures of major agricultural products were as follows:

Note:

The net import volume of grains was 6.366 million tons, up by 17.8% on a yearly basis.
