China’s Agricultural Import and Export for Jan.- Mar. of 2016

In the first quarter of 2016, China’s import & export in agriculture totaled US$ 40.64 billion with a year-on-year decrease of 3.2%. China’s agricultural export was US$ 16.39 billion and its agricultural import was US$ 24.25 billion, up by 3.3% and down by 7.2% respectively. China suffered a trade deficit of US$ 7.86 billion in agriculture, down by 23.6%. The export and import figures of major agricultural products were as follows:
