Mr. Galindo,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of China has released a list of processing facilities of some countries qualified for alfalfa export to China. So your company must be included in the list in the first place. Currently, China imports only non-GM alfalfa, mainly from the U.S., Canada, Span, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

For quarantine regulations and procedures for export of alfalfa to China, you are kindly advised to inquire of AQSIQ about requirements in detail through email to webmaster@aqsiq.gov.cn or seek information at http://english.aqsiq.gov.cn/.

For qualified Chinese importer, please consult the Ministry of Commerce (http://english.mofcom.gov.cn/).

Best regards.
